Finalists to Winners: Burnett Bags Awards at Digital Asia Festival
Last week in Beijing, Leo Burnett Melbourne and Beacon/Leo Burnett Tokyo swept the Digital Media Awards with a 100 percent conversion of finalists into winners. The teams brought home a total of one Gold, three Silver and two Bronze.
Ryuji Mitsuishi, digital business and strategy director of Beacon/Leo Burnett Tokyo was a part of the jury this year while Pao Pena Chief Digital Officer of Leo Burnett Philippines took to the stage on day one of the festival to deliver a presentation to over 300 members of the digital industry on Paid-Owned-Earned Media -- discussing the increasingly grey area of the practice where what we used to know as earned media.
Digital Asia Festival / Digital Media Awards is the latest joint-venture festival/awards between the Cannes Lion Festival and Haymarket. This joint-venture was announced earlier this year and is one of the three other JV events which include Spikes Asia and Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards.
