LB Toronto Named Marketing Magazine's Agency of the Year
Earlier this week, Marketing Magazine named Leo Burnett Toronto 2012's "Agency of the Year".
The article outlines a rather unconventional pitch LB Toronto gave to Toronto Dominion bank last year. Instead of selling an idea for the TD business, they sold the idea of the Leo Burnett team. The exceptional presentation won the business – and many fans at Toronto Dominion.
TD wasn't LB Toronto's only example of business going well last year. Leo was on the right foot with many others in 2012, having won new accounts with Earls, the Liquor Control Board of Ontario and Yellow Pages Group in addition to TD. The Toronto office also produced highly successful campaign work with brands such as IKEA, James Ready Brewing Company and Procter & Gamble. In addition, Leo's Canada hub won Campaign of the Year for James Ready, and Pitch of the Year for IKEA.
