Leo Q+A: Nicolas Chidiac

In this edition of Leo Q+A, we had the chance to chat with Nicolas Chidiac, Leo Burnett Chicago’s new senior vice president, strategy director for Kellogg’s, who recently transferred from Leo Burnett’s Dubai office. What’s on your to-do list this year?
Get a Social Security Number, bank account, phone number and (this part might be overly ambitious but that’s just the way I am) find a place to live

How would your co-workers describe your personality?
Wells Davis once told me that I’m “chilled” just like him.

What's the first thing you do in the morning?
Skype with mommy (true story).

Where do you do your best thinking?
In conversations with people smarter than me.

Do you have a personal motto?
Afraid not.

What are you most passionate about outside of work?
Seafood on a beach, preferably in Greece.

What does your perfect day look like?

What’s your greatest advertising-related fear?
Being the “nobody really knows what he does” guy.

How do you feel about the current state of advertising?
Struggling to capture value; but from what I’m hearing, Cannes entries were at a record high this year.

How would you like to end your career?

What would you say is your most creative accomplishment?
I wrote a book, but it wasn’t very good.

Cool.
