Leo Burnett Hong Kong Appoints Alex Lee as CEO

Alex Lee has been appointed as chief executive officer of Leo Burnett Hong Kong. Lee joins from Ogilvy & Mather, where he was regional digital director, Asia Pacific.

Lee has extensive global leadership experience, working in Malaysia, China and Hong Kong with clients including Diageo, Nestle, IHG, Dupont and many more over the course of his nearly two decades in the industry.

He joined OgilvyOne Malaysia in 2001 to run marketing and CRM programs for blue-chip brands in the APAC region. In 2009, Lee relocated to Shanghai with Ogilvy & Mather, where he was charged with regional responsibilities for clients as well as for IBM Growth Markets as regional director. Five years later, Lee moved to Hong Kong in a new role with the agency as regional digital director.

As the chair of Ogilvy’s APAC digital leadership team, Lee lead the agency to be the number one digital agency network across Asia Pacific in 2013 and 2014.
