Leo Burnett Wins Pitch for Telecom Giant China Mobile ‘And’ Brand
Leo Burnett will serve as creative agency for the 4G brand through 2017.
Leo Burnett will extend its partnership with China Mobile after winning a five-way pitch for the company’s 4G service, the “And” brand, as well as the nationwide China Mobile business.
The pitch showcased the agency’s creative and strategic planning.
The new appointment was decided at the end of December 2015 and will be effective from 2016 to 2017. The partnership will focus on national communication strategy and creative solutions for the 4G brand.
In August 2013, Leo Burnett won and helped launch China Mobile’s “And” brand. The agency helped elevate the 4G service to the most dominant brand under China Mobile. The “And” business now has more than 300 million users.
