Leo Burnett Worldwide Is 2nd Most Awarded Agency at ANDYs
Agency network takes home 18 awards across seven global offices
The 2017 awards season kicked off and Leo Burnett Worldwide is taking home 18 ANDYs – the second highest number of awards – at the 53rd annual show. The International ANDY Awards is the first major creative awards show of 2017, and is renowned for setting the creative bar for the year.
The network received a total of six Gold, one Silver and 11 Bronze across its offices in Bangkok, Chicago, London, Manila, Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto. The awarded campaigns were for major clients, including Samsung, McDonald's, IKEA and Japan Railways.
Leo Burnett Chicago won four Gold for the Art Institute of Chicago “Van Gogh BnB” campaign in Direct Response: Leisure/Travel; Reset – Innovation: Leisure/Travel; Events: Leisure/Travel; and Events: Environmental Design.
In a highly innovative campaign for IKEA, Leo Burnett Toronto won two Gold for “Cook This Page: The IKEA Parchment Recipe” in the categories Direct Response: Graphic Design and Promotional Items: Retail Foods. The campaign also picked up two Bronze in Direct Response: Package Design and Promotional Items: Package Design.
Leo Burnett Toronto took home Silver for “Smith Brunch Menu” for Smith Restaurant in the category Printed Materials: Graphic Design.
The annual International ANDY Awards is organized by the Advertising Club of New York, representing the vision and mission of a vibrant international advertising community across crafts.
