Publicis Groupe Celebrates Entrepreneurship, 90th Birthday By Supporting 90 Digital Startups
Publicis will mentor and fund digital entrepreneurial projects.
Publicis Groupe is familiar with entrepreneurship. The company was founded by Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet 90 years ago in a little Parisian apartment on Rue Montmartre. In 1926, the founder’s only staff was his secretary. Now, Bleustein-Blanchet’s company is one of the largest ad companies in the world, with close to 80,000 employees.
To celebrate its 90th birthday, Publicis Groupe is calling all students, startups, successful entrepreneurs and everyone in between to submit their digital startup projects on the Publicis90 platform. Selected projects will fall under the support of Publicis Groupe through mentorship and funding. Mentorships will come in the form of experts in marketing, communications, management and technology.
The 90 selected projects will be invited to attend Viva Technology Paris, a first-class event focused on technology and innovation. This event, created by Publicis Groupe and Groupe Les Echos, will be held from June 30 to July 2, 2016, at the Paris Expo Exhibition Centre at Porte de Versailles. The selected projects will be honored at an awards ceremony held during Viva Technology Paris. Submissions on the Publicis90 platform will be open until February 28.
