Tidal 'Wave' Wins for Leo Burnett and Lapiz at 2014 Wave Festival
Leo Burnett and Lapiz made a splash at the 2014 Wave Festival, winning one Grand Prix, five Gold, nine Silver and six Bronze awards.
The annual festival, which is a top advertising show in Latin America that also includes the U.S. Hispanic market and Puerto Rico, was held April 15 and 16 in Rio de Janeiro. This year, Leo Burnett Tailor Made took home the most prestigious category in the show, the Grand Prix in Blue Wave (Titanium & Integrated), for its ABTO "Bentley Burial" campaign.
In addition to stealing the most coveted prize, Leo Burnett and Lapiz won five Gold awards. In the Cyber category, Leo Burnett Tailor Made won a Gold for "Bentley Burial;" in the Film category, Leo Burnett Buenos Aires won a Gold for Arcor Bon-O-Bon's "Juanjo's Story;" in the Outdoor and Print Craft categories, Leo Burnett Tailor Made won two Gold for Fiat's "Letters F, N, R;" and in the Press Craft category, Lapiz won a Gold for P&G Gain's "Stains Happen."
Leo Burnett and Lapiz also picked up nine Silver and six Bronze, and Lapiz was named the most awarded U.S. Hispanic agency.
