Actress and director Regina King stars in Cadillac’s newest ad, highlighting the innovation and resiliency behind the 2021 Escalade.
It’s a new era for Cadillac, one driven by fearless innovation that’s exemplified in the new 2021 Escalade. With first-to-market technologies and a bold design, the newest model needed to be introduced by an individual equally as vibrant and boundary-pushing.
Enter: Regina King. The Emmy and Oscar® winning actress is serving as the brand’s newest ambassador, starring in its “Never Stop Arriving” campaign via Leo Burnett Detroit. The :30 spot follows King as she takes the 2021 Escalade for a drive, and in her powerful voiceover she speaks to the campaign’s themes of bravery, resilience, and defying expectation.
“The Cadillac experience is all about ambition, being hopeful, and being relentless as you work towards your goals,” said King. “Cadillac looks to make every journey extraordinary, and we all should be striving for that.”
The campaign’s theme of overcoming obstacles gives a meaningful nod to King and her journey to success as an actress and director, but also reflects the challenges overcome by Dee Rees, the campaign’s director, and Rachel Morrison, the award-winning Director of Photography.
