The ads encourage people to visit McDonald’s anniversary website and submit their memories as part of the campaign.
Part of the anniversary campaign, the spot above, "Just Passed Test Drive Thru," features a boy struggling through a McDonald’s drive-thru with his friends after just passing his driving test. All-time favorite 1970’s soundtrack, “The Boys Are Back In Town” by Thin Lizzy accompanies the spot, adding to the light-hearted humor and highlighting the golden decade when McDonald’s first launched in the U.K.
