Leo Burnett Wins Dream Cruises Business
LB China Sails Away With Another Big Win
Chinese luxury cruise line Dream Cruises named Leo Burnett China as its new creative agency.
Dream Cruises parent company, Genting Hong Kong, unveiled plans for the Asian luxury line, the first for the market, last November. The company looks to lay claim to Asia’s growing cruise market with strategic communications and creative work from Leo Burnett.
“The Leo Burnett team has solid international experience in the premium travel category, along with an in-depth understanding of the affluent mass market in China,” said Eric Leong, vice president, brand marketing and communications at Dream Cruises. “I believe our partnership will offer Dream Cruises a dream start in the China market.”
Genting Hong Kong has been a leader in the leisure, entertainment and hospitality spaces for over 20 years.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to launch Dream Cruises in China,” said Angie Wong, general manager of Leo Burnett Shanghai. “The country’s travel market has grown spectacularly in recent years, and there has been a notable rise in the number of middle-class consumers looking for premium travel and lifestyle experiences.”
This win marks the third new piece of business won by Leo Burnett China, which recently added Huawei EBG and China Mobile to its client roster.
The first ship in the Dream Cruises fleet, Genting Dream, is scheduled to debut in November of this year.
