Leo Burnett’s “Nocturnal Animals” Keeps Late-Night Hunger at Bay
The Sri Lanka and Vietnam offices joined forces to launch McDonald’s new print campaign combating late-night hunger.
When late night hunger is on the prowl, where do you turn for a bite to eat? Rooting around an empty fridge or rummaging through cabinets leave many scavengers unsatisfied.
That’s why Leo Burnett Vietnam and Leo Burnett Sri Lanka joined forces with McDonald’s to create “Nocturnal Animals”—a new print campaign reminding people where they could find a meal to curb hunger pains, ‘round the clock, every day.
McDonald’s advertising—with its familiar Golden Arches—is known for its bright and eye-catching colors. This campaign turns that tradition on its head, speaking directly to night owls with high contrast arches on a dark field.
To embody that nighttime hunger on the prowl, the print campaign used popular all-nighters like raccoons and owls as central characters, incorporating McDonald’s arches as their eyes. This eye-catching new campaign is sure to bring those after-hours appetites at bay.
