New Always #LikeAGirl Campaign Encourages Girls to Try, Fail, Learn & ‘Keep Going
Leo Burnett Chicago’s latest campaign for P&G Always aims to boost girls’ confidence by encouraging them to embrace failure as fuel instead of setbacks
When Leo Burnett and P&G Always found that at puberty, 50 percent of girls feel paralyzed by the fear of failure, they knew it was time to change that mindset.
The latest video in the #LikeAGirl campaign finds that while failure is the thing everyone is afraid of, it is also the one thing we all experience.
The video’s narrator, 16-year old Nwabisa, explains that we’ve all failed at many things and will certainly fail at many more, but that’s a good thing. Because failures aren’t setbacks. They are are fuel to keep going, to keep growing and to keep making progess. Not only for girls, but for all of us.
The campaign encourages girls around the world to continue failing, because we only truly fail when we don’t even try.
