Leo Burnett Earns Top Spot in 2023 WARC Creative Rankings

The Lost Class and Thighstop were recognized as the world’s most awarded campaigns for creativity.

The WARC Creative 100 ranks the world’s most awarded campaigns and companies for their creativity and tracks the results of creative work from around the world, acting as a benchmark for excellence.

This year, Leo Burnett Chicago won the top seat in the WARC Creative 100 ranking for anti-gun violence campaign for Change the Ref The Lost Class, which creatively confronted the NRA to address gun violence in America, calling for legislative change to mandate universal background checks for future gun owners.

“The Lost Class was an incredibly brave idea and I’m very proud of Leo Burnett for having the courage to produce it. But we have a long way to go to change the way America thinks about gun laws. I can only hope this recognition inspires someone else to do something even better and even more effective,” says Britt Nolan, President and CCO of Leo Burnett.

Wingstop’s Thighstop also made the charts this year, earning the 58th spot in this year’s rankings. Leo Burnett also scored rankings for global campaigns “One House to Save Many” out of Leo Burnett Australia, “The Spider and the Window” out of Leo Burnett Germany, and “Invaluable Food” out of Leo Burnett Madrid.
