Molly Baz is First Pregnant Woman on Cereal Box in New Special K Campaign

Special K launches special edition cereal boxes featuring the best-selling cookbook author as part of new campaign, Special for a Reason, redefining what it means to be special.

Culinary powerhouse and soon-to-be mom Molly Baz is no stranger to finding ways to get the most out of every meal, ensuring she gets all the nutrients she needs during her pregnancy. In partnership with Special K, Molly is officially the first pregnant woman to appear on limited-edition boxes for the cereal brand. This partnership is the first ‘special edition’ cereal box, with more to come.

“Special K has always designed food around people. This is why we want every inch of these Special K boxes – front and back – to be a celebration of everything that makes people unique,” said Sadie Garcia, Senior Director of Brand Marketing at WK Kellogg Co. “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Molly for this initiative as someone who embraces being true to yourself. Together, our goal is to deepen that pride and highlight that everyone’s journey to motherhood looks different, but each path is special in its own way.”

The partnership is part of Special K’s new brand platform, “Special for a Reason.” In a series of vignettes, Special K highlights the human experience in the new campaign, underscoring the idea that being special isn’t merely a label – it’s a commitment to addressing the diverse needs of its consumers.

This campaign marks a pivotal moment for Special K as it aims to redefine its role in people’s lives and reintroduces itself as a companion for the imperfect journey of being human – and growing a human. It’s a cereal that meets you wherever you are and moves with you – it’s named Special for a reason.

In celebration of the partnership with Molly, Special K is donating $25,000 to Women’s United, and for every box sold, the brand will match for an additional donation. The limited edition boxes are available for pre-order now on kelloggs.com while supplies last.
